The Office of Elections reminds voters of the following:

  • If you made a mistake on your ballot, do not attempt to correct it. Follow the instructions on your ballot to request a replacement ballot.
  • Sign your ballot return envelope. Your signature is required for your ballot to be accepted and counted.
  • Your return envelope is pre-addressed and postage paid. Do not place a stamp on it.
  • Sign up for free ballot notifications at elections.
  • Accessible voting options are available for voters needing assistance. You can request an electronic ballot or visit a voter service center to use accessible voting equipment.
  • Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on August 10; postmarks do not count.

According to the Office of Elections, ballots are only sent to active voters. If you have moved and have not update your voter registration, you must do so before you can cast your vote in this election. To update your voter registration, visit their website or complete a paper registration form found in all state libraries and post offices.

Office of Elections extended phone hours:

Monday to Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at (808) 453-8683 or toll-free 1-800-442-8683.
