HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Carrie Underwood is coming to Honolulu for her first-ever concerts in Hawaiʻi! And to celebrate this, Governor Josh Green, M.D. is proclaiming July 18 as Carrie Underwood in Hawaiʻi.
She will be performing at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20. This is a big deal because it's the first time she will be performing a concert in Hawaiʻi, even though she filmed the movie "Soul Surfer" here back in 2010.
Underwood has won eight Grammy Awards and many other honors. She is known for her powerful voice and songs that mix country, gospel and rock music.
For Hawaiʻi's concerts, there will be no opening acts; it will be just Carrie performing all her big hits.
Tickets for the concerts have different prices, starting from $48.85 and going up to $707.20. The prices include all fees; so, you know exactly what you’re paying from the start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for fans in Hawaiʻi to see one of the biggest names in music live.
