A pair of University of Hawaii baseball teammates are currently making noise for the Orleans Firebirds in the Cape Cod League, the country's premier summer baseball league.
Ben Zeigler-Namoa and Itsuki Takemoto are both have stellar summers for the Firebirds thus far and have been named Cape Cod League All-Stars.

Zeigler-Namoa is currently hitting .346 for the Firebirds with a team-high three home runs, striking out just 11 times in 22 games.
In eight pitching appearances, Takemoto is 2-1 with a 0.93 ERA, striking out 21 over 19.1 innings, boasting a WHIP of 0.72.
The Cape Cod All-Star game is set for noon HST on July 27.
Also named to the Cape Cod All-Star game was Saint Louis alumnus Aiva Arquette. The shortstop is considered one of the top prospects in the 2025 MLB Draft.
