In the rankings, Hawaii comes in at #3. Why?

In Hawaiʻi, out of 2,789 homes, 37 are tiny homes! That's about 1.33% of all homes. Even though these homes are small, they cost a lot per square foot, about $666. Living tiny in paradise is made easier.

Alaska and Maine come in at #1 and #2, respectively.

Alaska has the highest percentage of tiny homes. Out of 2,444 homes, 75 are tiny, making up 3.07%. Plus, it's cheaper than Hawaii with an average cost of $243 per square foot. Imagine living in a cozy cabin surrounded by snow and nature!

Meanwhile, Maine comes in second place. Out of 4,005 homes, 95 are tiny, which is about 2.37%. It's perfect if you love beautiful forests and the ocean.

Other cool places include Vermont and New Hampshire. Vermont has 16 out of 1,732 homes that are tiny (0.92%), and New Hampshire has 24 out of 2,636 homes (0.91%).
