HONOLULU (KHON2) -- After almost five months and 900 witnesses, the federal government rests and prepares for the long awaited defense of Michael Miske.
He is charged with racketeering and conspiracy and the state and waits with eager anticipation of what is to come Wednesday as the defense makes their case.
Some of the governments 900 witnesses includes Miske's former co-defendants who struck a plea deal ahead of trial.
Among the series of charges brought up against Miske are bank fraud and ordering the murder of Jonathan Fraser.
Prosecutors said he blamed Fraser for causing the death of his son Caleb Miske, in November 2015.
Miske has pled not guilty on all counts.
