HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Multiple road closures around Oahu have been put in place, affecting morning commuters' traffic.
Just after 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, a car fire blocked two right lanes and the right shoulder on the H-1 westbound near the Kaonohi Overpass.
Officials announced the two right lanes have since been reopened but the shoulder remains closed.
Over in Kahaluu, a tree was cut down and blocked Kamehameha Highway in both directions around the Kahaluu Pond area. The roads have been reopened.
In Kapolei, Honolulu Fire Department and Honolulu police are responding to a brush fire. The fire prompted a road closure of Kualakai Parkway in both directions from Kapolei Parkway to KROC Center.
The northbound direction has reopened. Drivers are still unable to make a right turn.
