Week 2 of the Hawaii high school football season kicked off into full swing on Friday with marquee games across the West Coast.
Punahou hosted national No. 17 Sierra Canyon and lost 30-7, while Kahuku fell to defending national champion 33-7 Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, on Maui, Lahainaluna was walloped 42-12 by Kapolei in its 2024 opener.
