Wakeup2day's Chris Latronic was joined in studio by Sarah Christian from the Hawaii Polo Club and Josue Aguilar with Hui Homes.

"The Hawaii Polo Club is holding a 'Lahaina Fire Benefit Polo Game and Concert' on Sunday, Aug. 25, with the proceeds going to Hui Homes, a collective that is building tiny homes as an immediate housing solution for displaced fire survivors. The donations will help supply materials, building equipment and resources to create immediate temporary housing solutions," explained Christian.

In addition to the fundraiser, the Ushijima Cup match will honor the legacy of a prominent member of the Hawaii Polo Family, Clive Ishijima. A big-name musician will also play after the polo matches.

"We are very lucky to have reggae, rock 'n roll, blues musician and surfer Landon McNanama and his band headlining our fundraising party after the polo matches. He just finished a big mainland tour and is a big supporter of Hui Homes. We also have a variety of signed surfboards and other north shore items up for silent auction," Christian added.

A Silent Auction will be held during the polo game showcasing signed surfboards and other captivating items. GA Admission Tickets include the polo matches and concert lawn seating.

VIP Tickets include polo matches & concert seating in the VIP tent!

Gates will open at 11:30 a.m. and the first match will begin at 2 p.m.
