HONOLULU (KHON2) -- While Tropical Storm Hone impacted mostly the Big Island, Kauai County said it had some scattered power outages over the weekend. However no significant impacts or closures were reported.
On Monday, officials said it's somewhat business as usual, with quite a bit of overcast.
The Kauai Emergency Management Agency tells us high surf and wind advisories have been canceled.
Officials want to remind residents to continue to be aware of the other storms looming ahead in the East Pacific.
"If you look in the Eastern Pacific, we have Gilma and Hector. And Gilma is poised to enter the Central Pacific quite soon. With that, we will remain vigilant and ensure collective awareness and preparedness by our whole community partners," said Elton Ushio of the KEMA.
Officials are reminding residents to continue monitoring the situation and have an emergency kit ready.
