HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Kamaka Air, Hawaii's inter-island air cargo provider, announced the resumption of full flight operations, serving all islands within the state.
Following recent personnel changes, Kamaka temporarily suspended flights on June 5, maintaining uninterrupted service through a collaborative arrangement with a third-party airline.
David Hinderland, CEO of Kamaka Air, expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption.
"At Kamaka Air, we recognize the vital role our services play in delivering goods, medications, and mail to residents across every Hawaiian island," said Hinderland. "Today, our aircraft are once again airborne, and our teams are enthusiastic about serving our valued customers who rely on our deliveries for their daily necessities. We extend our sincere appreciation to our customers for their understanding and patience during this period."
With flight operations fully restored, Kamaka Air reaffirmed their commitment to providing reliable and efficient cargo transport services throughout the island.
