NUUANU, Hawaii (KHON2) -- Honolulu Emergency Medical Services treated a man who suffered apparent stab wounds in the Nuuanu Avenue area.
The incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday when first responders were called to stabilize a 37-year-old man in serious condition.
Honolulu police said the man got into a verbal argument with a 69-year-old male, which led to the suspect injuring the man with a sharp object in his left thigh.
Paramedics transported the man to a trauma hospital.
The 69-year-old was arrested for assault.
