HONOLULU (KHON2) -- In just over two weeks, the University of Hawaii will announce its next president.
The Board of Regents is scheduled to interview finalists Wendy Hensel and Dr. Julian Heilig on October 16.
Following the interviews, the regents will convene in an executive session the next day to make their decision.
The public is encouraged to provide feedback on both finalists.
The new president is expected to take office by January, succeeding David Lassner, who has held the position since 2013.
