HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Youth from across Hawaii will gather at the State Capitol this Saturday, November 16, to engage in a critical discussion about the future of climate policy in the state.
The annual Climate Future Forum, scheduled from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., will bring together young people and lawmakers to review and discuss the priorities identified during the morning session.
The forum provides an opportunity for Hawaii’s youth to voice their concerns and ideas regarding climate change, sustainability, and the state’s environmental policies.
This year’s event will focus on the priorities for Hawaii’s climate future, with attendees learning more about the solutions and policies discussed earlier in the day.
The public is invited to attend the afternoon session, where they can learn about the outcomes of the morning discussions and hear from youth leaders and policymakers.
