HONOLULU: Trade winds will give way to kona winds starting Friday and lasting through Tuesday. Rainfall will be very limited through this weekend. High clouds may block sunshine from time to time Friday and Saturday.
The Next Few Days:
- Drier and Warmer: A strengthening high-pressure system will bring drier and warmer conditions on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Very Light Winds: Trade winds will become even lighter as the high weakens and low-pressure systems pass to the north.
- Mostly Cloudy and Dry: Friday through Saturday will be mostly cloudy and dry with light and variable winds.
- Potential for Showers: A weak front may bring a chance of showers on Sunday, but overall rainfall is expected to be minimal.
- Returning Trade Winds: Early next week, high pressure will build to the north, bringing back northeasterly trade winds and mostly dry conditions.
