HONOLULU (KHON2) -- A man made his initial appearance Monday after he was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threatening at a shopping center as well as stabbing a Walmart employee on June 15.
A security guard told police that he was making his rounds at a shopping center on Ala Moana Boulevard when he spotted the man, later identified as Kealoha Tapu, sleeping against the building.

Police records state that Tapu charged at the guard while yelling an expletive.
Later in the day, HPD said, Tapu stabbed a Walmart employee at a bus stop on Ke'eaumoku Street.
The 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
