Reigning Hawaii state wrestling champion and recent Mililani High School graduate Adrian Lee is set to make his professional debut at ONE Championship's 167th event.
The 18-year-old will face Antonio Mammarella in his first fight on Friday night in Thailand.
Adrian Lee, the younger brother of two-weight class champion Christian Lee, becomes the fourth sibling in his family to compete in ONE Championship. He joins former champion Angela Pucci and the late Victoria Lee in representing the family in the organization.
"It feels great. I've been waiting for this moment my whole life and can't wait to showcase my skills," Adrian Lee said in an interview with Sam Spangler on Wake Up 2Day. "One piece of advice that I've always gotten is just to stay focused. There will be a lot of distractions with media and everything, so I'll stay focused on the fight."
Adrian credited his well-rounded training to his family's comprehensive approach. "I feel like I'm pretty well-rounded because our family doesn't train any specific art; we train it all together," he said. "It comes very naturally to me because I've been doing this for so many years now."
Christian Lee, who has already achieved significant success in ONE Championship, will be in Adrian's corner for the debut fight. "I'm so grateful and lucky to have my brother, who's already the lightweight and once a week champ, as my main training partner," Adrian added. "He's really the top of the top."
Adrian Lee's debut fight is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Hawaii time and will be streamed live on Prime Video.
