HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Enjoy a new pop-up in the Ainahau Showroom of the Princess Kaiulani Hotel. Executive Chef, Blake Kajiwara, and Restaurant Manager, Jesse Suderman, joined Wake Up 2Day with the details.
The pair shared, "Experience the ThrowBack Alley culinary pop-up at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, a celebration of the nostalgic flavors of Old School Hawaii. This distinctive culinary event brings cherished local diner favorites back to life with locally sourced ingredients and exclusive in-house sauces. Savor a rotating menu of takeaway dishes that spotlight classic favorites, honoring Hawaii’s rich culinary heritage. Each visit offers a delicious main dish, a tasty side, and a refreshing signature non-alcoholic beverage, perfect for unwinding with friends or starting your evening in style."
This month ThrowBack Alley is featuring their Smash Burger, made with two Snake River Farms wagyu smash patties, house-made bacon jam, American cheese, caramelized onions, shredded lettuce, and secret sauce.
Another favorite is the Chili Cheese Curly Fries, topped with house-made chili and cheese sauce.
For a refreshing treat, try the new Green River Slush, made with classic lime flavors, and available with vanilla ice cream, as well as Local Kine Lemonades infused with crack seed plum, blue Hawaii, and green river flavors.
