Mid-Pacific's Isiah Kiner-Falefa collected his first pair of hits for the Pittsburgh Pirates since getting traded to the organization on Sunday.
In a 6-5 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks, Kiner-Falefa hit leadoff and played second base, going 2-for-5 with a double, triple and a run scored.

Kiner-Falefa was traded to Pittsburgh from the Toronto Blue Jays on July 30.
In other MLB news featuring players with Hawaii ties, Kailua's Joey Cantillo was sent back down to Triple-A on Sunday. Cantillo made two starts for the Cleveland Guardians, allowing 10 hits and six earned runs in 7.1 innings with seven strikeouts and three walks.
