HONOLULU (KHON2) -- U.S. News & World Report has named Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center among the Best Hospitals in 2024-2025.
The hospital was ranked highly in COPD; congestive heart failure; heart attack; knee replacement; leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma; pneumonia; and stroke in the report.
“At Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, our patients’ total health is at the center of everything we do, and our connected care model demonstrates the best outcomes of working together,” said Ed Chan, president of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals in Hawaii.
Nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions were evaluated.
Only 11% of evaluated hospitals earned a 'Best Hospitals' ranking.
Hospitals named the 'Best' excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.
