Tatiana Weston-Webb was honored by the County of Kauai and Mayor Derek Kawakami in a special proclamation ceremony held at the Lihue Civic Center on Wednesday morning.
Weston-Webb recently won silver at the Paris Olympics, finishing second behind Caroline Marks in Teahupo'o, Tahiti.

While Weston-Webb was born in Brazil, she moved to Kauai as an infant, was raised on the Garden Isle and continues to hold residence there.
