HONOLULU (KHON2) -- A new art exhibit by the Windward Artists Guild is being showcased at Honolulu Hale for a limited time.
Wake Up 2Day's Chris Latronic was joined by Liz Corbin, Vice President of Exhibits for the Windward Artists Guild for a sneak peek of "Islands of Diversity" and to learn more about the guild's history.
He was then greeted by Ka'ili Trask O'Connell, executive director for the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts, who explained how artists & non-profits can use this space for these types of exhibits.
Wendy Roberts, Premier Board Member for Windward Artists Guild, explained the layout of the exhibit and how she chose each display as well as her own paintings inspired by her love for hiking.
Other featured artists were also there to present their stunning artworks including George Evan Davis and first-place juror-chosen artist, Kenneth Nakamura.
Here's what you need to know
- Most of the work in this show is for sale.
- All art must remain on display in the show until Sept. 12.
- Shipping will need to be calculated separately. Pick-up or shipping will be arranged by the artist.
- In the case of a duplicate purchase, the piece will be sold to the first buyer and a refund given to any accidental duplicate purchases.
- PayPal cannot allow purchases over $3000
