HONOLULU (KHON2) -- A unique holiday giving campaign will kick off at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu this Saturday, November 23, with the launch of three Giving Machines.
The event, set to begin at 11 a.m. at the Centerstage, will offer shoppers a special opportunity to contribute to local families and individuals in need during the holiday season.
The ceremony will feature remarks from Governor Josh Green and First Lady Jaime Green, who will join Giving Machine Hawaii organizer Mufi Hannemann to mark the start of this heartwarming initiative.
The launch will also include performances by local artists Amanda Keawe Fatongia, Ellsworth Simeona, and Sister Kenedi Anderson.
The Giving Machines, red, vending-style stations designed to inspire generosity and aloha, will be stationed at Ala Moana Center throughout the holiday season.
The public is invited to attend the event and help celebrate the spirit of giving in Hawaii.
