Two high school football teams from Hawaii were featured in the MaxPreps preseason Top 100 released Monday.
Three-time defending state champion Kahuku checked in at No. 30, while 2023 OIA champion and HHSAA runner-up Mililani is ranked 84th.

Despite its spot outside the Top 25, Kahuku will play No. 1 and No. 2 during the season.
The Red Raiders will visit defending national champion and preseason No. 1 Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas on Aug. 16 and host No. 2 Mater Dei on Sept. 14.
In 2023, a home win over St. John Bosco temporarily vaulted Kahuku into the Top 10 nationally.
On Sept. 28, Mililani will host Kahuku in a pivotal OIA matchup.
