HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Police are investigating a robbery that occurred early on August 22, at an illegal gambling establishment in the Kakaako Ward area.
Just after 4:30 a.m., three men forced their way into the game room.
Two of the suspects were armed with firearms, while the third carried a knife.
The suspects threatened employees and patrons, demanding cash and personal belongings.
Someone inside the game room called 911, prompting a response from patrol officers.
Police apprehended one suspect trying to flee through a back exit and found the other two in the bathroom.
The suspects in custody have been identified as a 24-year-old male and two 19-year-old males.
All three suspects have been charged with robbery.
Officers recovered the stolen firearms, knife, cash, and personal property from the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
